Resurrection III

East Tennessee has been known for an area of secrets. During War World II, The Manhattan Project in Oak Ridge was not disclosed to the public. Another area kept out of sight is the Body Farm. At the Body Farm, forensic scientists study human decay. Death and the decay of earthly bodies are just part of life's cycle. However, Jesus was in the tomb for only three days and did not see decay. "...you [God] will not abandon me [King David] to the grave, nor will you let your Holy One see decay." (Psalm 16:10) "Bloating of the body usually is present two to seven days following death. Following this, within structures, there is frequently rapid decomposition and skeletonization. ... Exposure of large portions of the skeleton usually does not occur until four to six months after death. Bleaching and exfoliation of bone—the beginning stages of destruction of the skeletal elements—begins at about nine months' exposure." (Galloway A, Birkby WH, Jones AM, Henry TE, Parks BO. Decay Rates of Human Remains in an Arid Environment. Journal of Forensic Science. Volume 34, Issue 3 (May 1989) ). Amazing!
