Compassion
ZOPHAR the NAAMATHITE
“Are all these words to go unanswered? Is this talker to be vindicated? Will your idle talk reduce men to silence? Will no one rebuke you when you mock? … Oh, how I wish that God would speak, that he would open his lips against you and disclose to you the secrets of wisdom …” (Job 11:2, 4, 5 NIV)
versus
APOSTLE PAUL
“Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.” (Colossians 3:12-14)
